Planeten in andere zonnestelsels bevatten waardevolle informatie over het ontstaan van planeten en leven. Promovenda Yapeng Zhang heeft hun atmosferen bestudeerd door te kijken naar hun kleinste onderdelen: isotopen. Met haar onderzoek hoopt ze te ontdekken wat ons eigen zonnestelsel uniek maakt.
