Marco van Eijk is per 1 september aangesteld als opleidingsdirecteur van de bachelor Life Science & Technology. Hij volgt Marcellus Ubbink op die sinds juli wetenschappelijk directeur is van het Leids Instituut voor Chemisch Onderzoek (LIC). Van Eijk is aangesteld voor een periode van vier jaar.
