Ongeveer een derde van de ouders en jonge kinderen (van 0 – 4 jaar) hebben na de eerste nationale lockdown van 2 maanden stress ervaren bij de terugkeer naar het kinderdagverblijf, zoals gerapporteerd door ouders in een grootschalig online vragenlijstonderzoek.

Het ontwikkelen en delen van nieuwe methoden om signalen van toenemende angst en stress zo vroeg mogelijk te herkennen, zodat jeugdigen snel laagdrempelige, effectieve hulp kunnen ontvangen.

Stress komt veel voor in de huidige samenleving. Dit is zorgwekkend, aangezien onderzoek herhaaldelijk heeft aangetoond dat stress een negatieve invloed heeft op de lichamelijke gezondheid. Zo vergroot stress bijvoorbeeld de kans op hart- en vaatziekten.

Op 17 november 2020 verdedigde Shuai Guo zijn proefschrift 'Recognition of Foreign Bank Resolution Actions'. Het promotieonderzoek is begeleid door promotoren prof.dr. R.D. Vriesendorp en prof.dr. M. Haentjens.
