Dinsdag 25 november ondertekenden vice-voorzitter van het College van Bestuur drs. H.W. te Beest en hoofd Vastgoed ir. F. Dekker namens de Universiteit Leiden de ontwikkelingsovereenkomst Nieuw-Rhijngeest Zuid. De overeenkomst werd gesloten met de gemeente Oegstgeest.
