Een hoge delegatie uit China bezocht op 6 november de Universiteit Leiden. Het gezelschap van ongeveer 25 leden van de CPPCC – een Chinees adviesorgaan vergelijkbaar met de Eerste Kamer – bezocht de Oude Sterrewacht, de Hortus botanicus en de Asian Library.
